Full Text Access

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that provides one click access to full text from the Library’s subscribed content as well as open access content. If no full text access is available to you, LibKey Nomad will link you to a document delivery request form.

Downloading and installing LibKey Nomad

• If you don’t already have this extension installed on your WA Health PC, you can easily download and install it on your work or home computer from the following site: https://thirdiron.com/downloadnomad/
• When installing the browser extension select the institution - WA Country Health Service (this will ensure that you link to the WACHS library)
• To test that the installation is working correctly, go to this link and look for one of the images below in the bottom left of your screen. https://www.nejm.org/doi/10.1056/NEJMoa2308719

Managing your LibKey Nomad browser extension

On WA Health PCs you can access and manage your LibKey Nomad browser extension:

• Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner of your browser window
• Click on Extensions
• Click on the 3 dots next to LibKey Nomad

On your home PC you will need to check the options for managing extensions for your particular web browser.

Browser extensions like LibKey Nomad will not be 100% effective

If LibKey Nomad does not link you to the full text of the article you require, you may still need to return to the library's Journals A to Z to check for availability.

Note: Functionality conflicts may arise if you have both LibKey Nomad and EndNote Click browser extensions installed.
